Another tatoo question... Why do criminals...

get them? If you are a law breaker, why would you get a tatoo that made identifying you later soooo incredibly easy? Any thoughts on this?

They have nothing better to do in jail or prision! Good question I would like to see what others have to say on this subject!

Most of the tatoos criminals get identify them with a gang...whether in prison gang or outside..it gives the a place of authority in prison with other prisoners..so they won't be messed with by other gang members inside. Others got the the tatoos before they were ever arrested to show gang affiliation then and got sent to prison after joining a gang..And i expect some men just like tatoos.
