My favorite thing at Thanksgiving is stuffing! My next favorite would have to be the yams baked in maple syrup with the teeny tiny marshmallows.

I would have to say I look forward to the candied sweet potatoes, more than anything else. No one else in my house eats them, so I only cook them on Thanksgiving- just for me.

Dressing! My mom makes this wonderful cornbread dressing to go with the turkey. She uses my great grandmother's recipe and it's delicious. The secret ingredient is sausage seasoning.

That DOES sound delicious. Thank you for sharing that. My husband also puts sausage in his cornbread dressing.

I like the stuffing and sweet potatoes. My in law make a lot of sweet potatoes for me and my nephews because she know we will be fighting over for the last sweet potato.

haha Maya! My husband's kids are like that about his stuffing. If they think he won't make it, they'll give him such a hard time until he does.

It's got to be cornbread stuffing and gravy. I could make a meal out of just that, with maybe some cranberry/orange sauce on the side. LOL.
