This story happend to a friend of mine about 20 years ago. I have a friend who was diagnosed to have TB. His condition was so serious that the doctors and all the medical experts lost hope in his recovery. One fateful day when he was still on the hospital bed,the doctors and the nurses were besides his sick bed talking and discussing about him. While sleeping so sickly, he over heard the head of the team taking care of him saying that his condition was hopless and that they should not worry much about him any longer. That is, they should just allow himto go the way of the dead. After the doctors left the ward, he called the nurse in attendance and asked her to discharge him. While the nurse was still trying to mop up courage and cool him down back to his bed, he yanked off the hospital dress on him, put on his shirt and trousers and walked out on the nurse. Every effort to stop him to remain in the hospital for more care proved furtile. He left the hospital and the medicine prescribed for him behind him. To cut the story short, my friend is still alive today and according to him, he has never had any cause to go back to that hospital or any other hospital till date. Do you call this miracle or an INVISSIBLE hand at work?

What an inspiring story... I do believe we each have the power to create our own miracles..I believe that in many ways our body was meant to self heal..I read once that the average human develops cancer cells about 30 times in thier life but of course for many of us, our body takes care of that before it continues to go and develop..Quite amazing.. I believe your attitude, has a lot to do with it too.. The mind does and can effect the body... Although as a person in the medical field I would never suggest someone forgo medical help, but I would also say that it doesnt hurt to also seek out alternative help in conjuntion with that..Simple things such as diet, meditation and most of all JOY!

I can't agree any more - indeed, people don't fully realize the healing power of their mind and body. For example who hasn't heard of Placebo effect, when a fake medicine is effective only by virtue of the factor of suggestion upon its adminitsration.

Both. My husband had a parishner in the hospital that Doctors had given all hope up for. The family gathered to decide if they should keep her on life support or just let her go. The doctors said that if they choose life support she would never get any better then she was right then and if they took her off she would die. Well the family decided not to prolong her agony and decided to take her off life support. She got better and left the hospital in a few days time. Not a trace of what was killing her slowly. My husband had prayed over her before they disconnected the life support system and just said that we knew God could heal her if He wish and that His will be done. She got a healing and because of that many of her family members including her husband came to the Lord.

My idea of a miracle is waking up every morning and getting to spend another day with family and friends, they are the miracles in my life. I was supposed to not be here anymore, when I had my accident 25 years ago at the age of 9 the doctors to this day still don't know how I am walking talking and breathing, so to me everyday is a miracle better than the last...

Miracles have always happened and will continue to happen. What h3appened to your friend is what is called faith in action.Miracle simply defined is the intervention of the supernatural to displace the natural in order to bring about an unnaural result however this result must be propelled by the faith of the person involved. In the bible the woman with an issue of blood said to her self that if she could only touch the hem of jesus garment she would made whole and she got her results. Therefore miracle is avery real that happen to people everyday but the mind must be able to produce the requisite "faith" to produce the result.Even in medical treatment the efficacy of the treatment is often the function of the mind, the best doctors in the world would never see thruogh a disease if your mind does not accept the treatment.

Miracle still happens, yes I believe it. And whenever it is positive like the one you mentioned, it is God's gift. If this type of miracle takes place, it is GOOD. We want it.

I have had many miracles in my life, One was when I lost my glasses during a car accident 20 miles from my home. We could not afford a new pair. The car was ok I was a bit bruised and sore but needed my glasses to drive and other things. Eight people searched my truck thoroughly even took out the seats and floor mats, took the dash apart and put it back and everything and searched the surrounding area to no avail. I did not know what to do but we took it to God and prayed and because I could not drive due to soreness for a couple weeks fiqured somehow we would find a way by the time I could drive. My husband and kids and I then drove about two weeks later sixty miles from the accident and our home to get firewood and pick huckleberries. My second oldest son went to dump his gallon in the 5 gallon bucket we were trying to pick enough to pay for my glasses and he came running back and excitedly told me to come with him. There on the truck dashboard, lay my glasses, folded, clean and like I had just laid them there. Now how did my glasses missing for two weeks and sixty miles from home and a bit more from the accident get there. They were NOT in that truck at all. Now that was a real micacle.

i still believe in miracle. But only God give us miracle. It doesnt mean that sinc ei believe in miracle i will not work hard in my life. I think for me miracle is in our hearts which we believe in. So it is still important for us to work hard with our dreams and not just wait when the miracle comes in our life.

you could refer to this as a miracle or an invisible hand at work because it was god hand working in his life, god is a miracle working god.i don't think this could be anything short of a miracle.

there are lots of miracle things happening to us every day. Most of the time we are not really aware of it. When i became more sensitive about the miracle that has been happening around me I have been more thankful to God. Most of us consider miracle as a magical thing that happened. I got similar story about a sick relative. We all lost hope for our relative to live. Its been 4 months since he lost consciousness and the only thing that make him live are the machines that connects to his body. and then one day he just woke up.. he is very thirsty he said. Water was the first thing that he ask. Right now is very healthy and has a regular job in an office.

MIRACLE is very much there. In the Christianity, saints are cannonised based on two miracles. In the Hinduism, we still here about miracles being taking place here & there in India. Sufi saints of ISLAM were famous for their miraculous healing powers. So many great personalities can not be liars when they confirm existance MIRACLEs. Even Miracle is a science, about which little is know. We can not deny Miracle simply because of lack of our own knowledge. Before invention of aeroplane, people refused to believe that things heavier that air can actually remain afloat in the air.

yes.i do beleive in miracles. It means that the purpose that God has kept us in this world is not yet over. When a child is born we have lot and lots of dreams about it. Similarly when we are born in this world God had a purpose in our lives. Sometimes he reveals it to people or make us realise our purpose through some miracles.

It could be both. One must remember that the human body is very comple, and is used to healin itself. Then we came up with all of these medicines to pump into it, sometimes making a condition worse or creating a new condition. In your friends case he had nothing to lose. Why sit being charged$$$ in a hospital with nobody trying to do anythin when you can be outside enjoying your last moments.
