How do I stop all windows from closing???!!?? / myLot

Everytime I X out one window, all of them close. It is driving me crazy! Any ideas?

are you talking about all windows from the same application (ie all internet explorer windows), or all of the applications you have open?

if I'm not mistaken, there's a setting that allows you to close all windows at once or just the one that's active... but I don't know where :(
