Do you vacation outside your country?

We live in Canada but we prefer to go elsewhere for vacations. Usually in the winter and south to a warmer climate. What do you do and where do you go?

We live in BC canada and we like to go to arizona for a few months. We travel in a 34 foot class a motorhome and live in the dessert most of the time. We find that it is pretty cheap to live there once you get past the gas it takes to get there. but that is another subject! I like the peace and quite, the fresh air, fruit and all the really nice people that we meet.

Welcome neighbour, your just next door, just a whole country between us. Now that is the way to travel, if only you could run that on solar power. :) Being on the east coast we seem to head straight south when we go, but once my wife retires, in a little over a year, we will do more travelling. We want to see the rest of Canada and many places in the states

Of course...because i love travelling so much :) and i think many countries have a different cultural and weather so it is good to learn about it. I usually go to the country near my country like singapore and malaysia, the reason why choose there is the unique culture there and more cheaper...

Excellent. Someday I will be in that part of the world. We usually choose Florida because we know people there and it is the closest warm spot to us. And it's the most affordable. I love experiencing other people's cultures and would love to go to India

Both myself and my wife are in our 50s and we don't like the shovelling and non-fun winter activities so south is great for us. Plus we can drive and have our car with us all the time. Try taking that to India for the summer. :) I have two really good friends from India, they are brother and siste, and I would just love to go to India at some point. I don't think I would go when it is summer there. Thanks for your response and many happy vacations to you and yours.

It is so nice to be able to go away for even just a week or two isn't it?

We are somewhat tied to the house, what with having weird animals in our garden n'all. Neighbours wouldn't have a clue what to do with them if we went away and I must admit that we live in such a beautiful place here in Oz, that there's no need to go far away for a break at all. Last time we had a holiday was about 12 years ago lol

Yes well when it is winter here I like to go on a vacation outside my country, and especially as my relatives live in America, I can go there and they can come here to get away from the winter weather, as most countries no matter where you go in winter time you seem not to be able to go to the same countries and do nice things.

Basically when it's winter in Canada it's winter all across Canada but in the U.S. you have both really cold and snowy and icy weather like we get here on the east coast of Canada but you can also go south in the US and find beautiful weather that we Canada love. Well you have a place to go when you visit the U.S. that rocks.
