I too like the Helms Depp battle, but mostly when Legolas goes down the stairs on an Orc shield, shooting his arrows as he goes, and then when he gets to the bottom he lets the shield fly and kill an orc with it. Such skill for an elf prince.

I Loved the Helms Deep scenes. actually the entire 2nd movie (and book, im currently reading them.) but i have two favorite parts. one was when the Elves came to help at the battle for Helms Deep (sadly Haldir was killed) (also no elves other then Legolas were actually there in the book.) but in the movie, when Elves arrived, it made it all so much better. (any guy who knows how to shoot with bows and arrows gains my heart lol) but i loved it when Legolas and Gimli competed the killing of orcs. very very amusing. those 2 throughout all movies and the books keeps it very interesting and humorous. bringing out goodtimes in otherwise blackness. ♣

my favrt part is in the ending part of return of the king, when the king n his army sees the orc's army standing n they know they are really less in number and are going to die but still the king goes forward turns back n says thats frodo......n they all charge and attack thats the best part for me.

The parts that always make me laugh are: "That's nice! Ash on my tomatoes!" --Pippin in the extended version of "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "What's taters, master?" -Gollum "Po-ta-toes! Boil em, mash em, stick em in a stew!" --Samwise

I would have to agree. I love it that Gimli & Legalos were competing on how many kills they got. I also loved that it carried on. I thought it was hilarious. It was a great scene.

My favorite scene is when the fellowship needs to protect the fortress in the second episode of the trilogy. Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli really rocks back there.

I am not sure that I can narrow it down, I really like all of the battle sceens, and the set and area in witch the film was filmed are amazing.

I prefer the first of the movies, the friendship of the ring, to any of them. Its beautiful, and its the best looking movie of them all. The others are dark and sad, and the first one introduces you to everyone, and its just by far the first movie, from start to finish.

"i cannot give you what you seek" -and Aeomer was so hurt when Aragorn told her that. And I was already thinking that he was into forgetting Arwen already.

my favorite phase in the trilogy is the fight scenes. the protagonist are such great warriors. they are from different races but they bonded pretty well. i like the part where legolas and gimli are counting their victims. even though their at the peak of the war they still have a sense of humor and toy with each other. i like the part where aragorn was picked up by his horse when he fell by the cliff. it shows how your horse and the warrior takes care of each other during battle.
