The Natural Position Of The Toilet Seat

Australia

Naturally women will argue that the natural position of the toilet seat is down and many men may argue that it is up. Now most men I know will put the seat down just to have peace in the family but I say that person who uses the toilet should place the seat in the position they prefer, that there is no actual natural position.

Personally I don't think there is a natural position for the toilet seat. As a woman, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. When a man goes to the toilet, he has to lift the seat up after us. Why is it such a big deal to put the seat down? Personally I don't have a problem with it. It was funny last night. My 6yr old daughter went to the toilet. Once in there, she yelled out to my partner "ARGHHH, YOU DIDN'T PUT THE TOILET SEAT DOWN!" I don't know where she gets that from cause it's never been a problem for me. They start young. hehe

I think the toilet seat should stay down because I find myself falling into the toilet sometimes when my hsuband forgets to put the toilet seat down when he's done.

But Lydia, all you have to do is check before you sit. Imagine if he didn't lift it because he didn't look, yuck.

With cats in my house the toilet seat and it's cover stay down unless in use. I caught one my cats playing with the water once and that was one time to many.
