I think Tendulkar is ahead by far... Ofcourse,injuries hav kept him out of the side for a while,but within the blink of an eye,you will see him bounce back to form.He has done it before and he'll do it again.I dont want to hurt anyone,but to me,Dhoni is not good at all.I think even Dinesh Karthik is a much better player,which throws him out of the scene when it comes to being the best batsman for India....

at this time i think its dhoni.nobody else is performing good.hes somewhat dependable.

it is Dravid...more cosistent..and reliable...saurabh..and dhoni..next to him....Sachin has made a lots of runs and records...but..at each and every time i have seen indian team in trouble...sachin was nt there

If you consider the current form, then we cannot count Yuvraj because he has been out of action for sometime. That leaves Sachin, Dhoni and Saurav. If you simply benchmark against the last series then it is Saurav. If your question is about the best batsman who is currently in the time irrespective of time, then I guess you know the answer is Sachin.... do you want any reasons for that?

At present none of the batsman in the playing 11 is in their best. But to say among them i think Ganguly,sachin are perfonimg well. Yuvraj was at his best when he was injured if he was there in the team, the situation would havebeen different in SA.
