Hi Friends, Can you please put your view on C++. Now a days, we have very new technologies and they are capturing the market like anything. What do you think about the future of C++. Is it going to be replaced?

I agree with you. It seems like you love C++ but there should be some logical reason for this belief. C++ is not as good as .NET for web devlopment (which is future). For cross plateform product also, people prefer Java. For UI projects also delphi is ultimate. For scripting also people prefer perl, python and php. Shell script is ever green on unix base. Last but not least, If you want fast devlopment, C++ is worst.

But i think, you can not compare Java and C++. java is now for a long time, and it is very clear that it has it's own market and now can not touch C++ market. C++ is still in the fields like Device Drivers, New and fast graphics products, Sorting and searching algorithm, fast scripts, Mobile technology, Creating new Operating systems, Genetic programming and long term product that require Speed as well as less resources with powerful features. Can Java is able to produce too much?
