Do you think you are addicted to the internet? your cellphone? video games?

When I was growing up the big fear was that kids were addicted to television. My mother saw a program on TV (ironic) that said kids were watching an average of 5 hours of TV per day. Immediately, my television viewing got limited to one hour per day, conditional on my completing my homework. It occurred to me the other day, that TV doesn't seem to be such a big concern any longer. I assume it has been displaced by the internet, video games, cellphone, texts, etc. Does anyone feel that they are addicted to these things? What about your children? Does it give cause for concern?

Oh my! 5yrs ago u would call me a addicted to text messaging. I dont stop typing on my cellphone. Its like 5am til 2am for me lol. Then i stop.. Im not addicted to my phone but dependent on it now. I dont feel connected when i dont have it with me. As for the internet, its reliable and a good source to pass away time for me. But i dont think im addicted to it. I can live without it...maybe(",)

I'm addicted to them all... Firstly and mostly I am addicted to my cellphone. I use it to make calls, listen to music, play games and also chat and browse with it.. It is gadget that I can't live without.. Second one is my computer with which I play video games and also browse the internet. I play many games like Fifa, Prince of Persia, Max Payne, Sims, Harry Potter etc etc... I mainly use the internet to chat, find information, download stuff for my pc and mobile etc etc...

I am totally addicted to the internet. It's just too bad that I don't always have the time to sit and surf. I do miss it at work when I'm sitting there all night doing nothing. But meh, what can ya do? I've recently decided that I don't miss my Cell phone, and I was never really into video games (thank-god because that is an expensive hobby). But I do seem to be watching more television today than I did a year ago.
