Nicest way to tell a Friend that he/she STINKS.

I have this friend since childhood. She is a wonderful friend. She is gorgeous, beautiful, nice, funny, caring, everything that you want for a friend. But there is only one problem with her. Whenever I get close with her, I could smell something that is very nasty to the nose. Sometimes, it is even unbearable. Her smell can almost kill dog. She is my close friend and I do not know how to say that she stinks. I do not know if she knows about her condition. I have other friend who jokes about her smell but I do not think that is polite.

Your best bet is to just be honest with her and straight up tell her that she smells and needs to either take a shower more often or use deodorant. It sounds mean but sometimes honesty is the only way to go.

yes i agree, sit down and have a talk with her and tell her about the situation and that you dont want people to make fun of her

it is best to be honest right? This friend is very sensitive and I don't want to make her feel bad about herself. I know my friend has a good future ahead of her and I do not want her smell to jeopardize that.

If you really are friends, you should tell her outright. No sugar-coating. It is possible that she knows it somehow but choose to ignore it since nobody is complaining, even you who's always with her is not complaining.

My first thought being that I know me is. She can't smell herself and tell she doesn't smell up to par. I would suggest since you are childhood friends just be honest and tell her....
