Try to create topics that are relevant to lots of groups or interests. This way, you get lots of responses. Look at your topic and ask yourself: "Would I really reply to this topic if Icame across it?"

there are way too many discussions to go through all of them, making friends helps on with our discussions. just keep doing it and you'll see, not all discussions get read in the same day that you post them, make friends

There are a lot of different reasons for one particular discussion to get more responses than another. Yes, people who are on your "friends" list are likely to respond to your discussion if they have something to contribute. As you are here longer you will build your list of reliable friends. It also depends on what is going on that day; there may be a few really "hot" topics that get a lot of attention. Your discussions may be repetitive of things that have been posted a lot recently, or the "right" people who have an interest may not have found your discussions yet. Don't be discouraged; all it takes is 1 response to awaken a discussion and get it going. Give it time. In the meantime, try just responding to other discussions with quality, well thought-out posts to increase your credits, earnings, and rating. Good Luck!
