Walmart's prices are definitely lower..but not by much. A $50 item at Target may be $48 at Walmart. But Target is a lot neater and more organized than Walmart, and you kind of have a more satisfactory feeling after buying something from Target than Walmart. Why is that? I guess the feel of Target is just different. However, Walmart does have a better selection. It's a close call.

I would have to say walmart has cheaper items, but target is better. I agree with other posts that it is a step up, but its because they have designer clothes and items. They are bringing the 'celeb. style' to the 'normal' people who can't stomach spending 200$ on a tank top (i can't stand to pay more then 20$) but anyway, target has a better selection and overall i think the clothes fit better too! :)

Walmart appears to have the lower prices but if you pay attention there are many things that you can get cheaper elsewhere. Target has better sales and excellent mark downs, plus much better quality clothing and general items. Walmart used to be great for going in and stocking up on essentials for the house and some food things, but the prices have been creeping up in the past few years. I like sales and Target tends to have some good ones

I think that WalMart has lower prices overall, but I like the quality of the products at Target more. Target stores just seem to be a step up from WalMart for some reason; maybe it's the way they are laid out and the way they display the merchandise, but something about Target seems "better" to me.
