Hate crime on gays.

One day my girlfriend and I were walking down Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs when a car load of people started throwing large pieces of ice at us. Of course we were pelted a few times and called names because we are gay but we were not really physically hurt. I can say that we were defintely hurt that other human beings could be so cruel. I don't think I will ever forget that day.Has anyone else experienced that kind of hate?

And think: there are still people out there so blind and ignorant as to think that anyone would *choose* to be gay. It boggles the mind. I've been called names a few times, but I've never been assaulted myself. I know people who have been, though, and it always makes me sick.

Very true. No one chooses to be a hated minority. We are human and we desire the same love and respect as other humans.

Not only crime on gays are horrible these days but all kinds of crimes are very disappointing and very sad. I hate it too. Why do other people kill? Hatred doesn't mean that if you kill someone it will just solve everything. Sometimes people doesn't think of their own actions. Just so stupid.

It's very true there is way too much crime.I get very sad watching the news and seeing another child has been molested, a woman battered, an honor student gunned down on their way home from school. It's outrageous that a lot of these criminals either get away with it or get light sentences only to get out of jail and commit another crime. I love Court TV because I like that they show trials so that we can see our systems flaws. Now the question is what can we do about it. Peace be with you.

I am truly sorry that this has happened to you, I wish there was something I could do to help...People like this are missing something in their own lives and this is why they are the way they are. I wish I could help you, cause that is soooo very wrong. I do not like people like that, they make me very angry. I myself am a straight married woman, but don't think that anyone should go through something like that cause of the person they love! It is just wrong! Were you able to get the a vehicle discription? Or did you know that people? How is your gf feeling about this situation....I am truly sorry for the stupid people in life, but don't let it get you guys down. You are better then them, just remember that!

it is very serous crime the people who does that they are the devil of the society and they should be punished badly
