Talking while Eating?? Is it Appropriate?

one my senior he tends to talk when he is eating. Even in a meeting while munching cookies he tends to speak spilling the bits all over the table.....i find it very annoying.... How to correct this habit of his...i mean is it appropriate to talk when u are eating???

I feel it is definately a bad habit to talk while you are eating food or snacks. i feel one should chew food with mouth closed as we are able to chew food properly and feel it in the mouth and are able to digest it properly.And since our attention is not diverted while eating, we wouldn't overeat too. Moreover if one tends to talk while eating he may choke so one should avoid it. Try telling your senior these points and if he is wise enough he will listen. otherwise talk to others office seniors if he may heed to them. but if he doesn't just ignore him and concentrate and enjoy what you ar doing. good luck.
