When a company treats my husband and I poorly, we usually refuse to use the company again (if possible). For instance, Cox cable was quite unfair and unproffessional with us, and we cancelled our service and will not use it agian. What do you do? would you be willing to go without cable just because a company wronged you?

Hey, you save a lot of money that way! lol Yes, we have refused to go places to shop or eat, or do other business when the companies do not act professional or give the quality of service expected. Sometimes we verbally express our problems, and then we often get compensation and an apology. When the company is the only one providing a service though, they seem not to care, because they have no competition.

Yes, that's true, if they don't have any competition they really don't care that much, but we'll do without instead of giving them our money.

We did the same thing. They kept hiking up the price so we went to the dish. At least with the dish we know how much our bill will be every month
