At what age should a woman cease to wear a miniskirt?

Do you feel that the wearing of a miniskirt should be reserved for a certain age group (i.e, no minimskirts after age 35?) Should wearing a miniskirt be stopped after one becomes a parent? A grandparent? Lets talk about it!

I personally dont like to see mini skirts on any female. Modesty is an important part of my life and I dont think mini skirts are modest at all.

Modesty is very important to me too. I personally could not wear a miniskirt (even if I had the figure!) but if someone else wants to, I feel it is their choice. Thanks for your input...positive rating applied!

I don't think there should be an age limit for women to wear miniskirts. I mean, if the one wearing it still feels like she's confident with what she has, then I guess there's no problem with it. It's a freedom of self expression everybody must enjoy. We may not like looking at some women in miniskirts, but that's their life after all. They can shop whatever they want.

I think it depends more on your body size. Older women should not wear them, I don't know what age to answer. If you have the body to look nice in one, I say wear it. What gets me is when hefty women wear the short skirts and think they look hot, what are they thinking?

Good question. I personal think that a women should stop, when she feels she is ready to stop wearing it. But, to see an older women, even in great shape wearing one, looks odd to me. I will never forget years ago, I saw a women wearing a mini skirt from the back. She looked great. Then she turned around, and I almost fainted. She was around 50 or 60 years old. A face full of wrinkles. This was about 40 years ago, and I still remember it. For a women to look her best, in my opinion, she should dress according to her age to a degree. And, she should try to look her best always, as she is still always a women.

Yes, I think after about 35-40 yrs it shouldn'tbeen worn. I do not like old women in miniskirt. A young lady can amaze men with her figure. But after the years a woman should amaze the men with her instrinsict value. I do not wear miniskirt. I am 32.

I think that it should be entirely up to the individual concerned whether or not they wear a miniskirt. I have seen some discussions on hear with people saying 'What are these fat / ugly / whatever women doing wearing revealing clothes?!' And I have to say this attitude really disturbs me! How HORRIBLE that we are such a superficial society!!! I personally would not wear a miniskirt or revealing clothes, but that is because I have a lack of self esteem. I think it is WONDERFUL that some overweight or whatever women have the self-esteem to do this! Good for them! If people don't like it, then they should just not look!

Should we have an age limit for the wearing of a miniskirt? I say no. My reasoning for this is, if a woman feels she can look good in one, who am I to deny her that pleasure. If she can turn heads IN A POSITIVE FASHION, GO FOR IT. I feel that most of us have seen at least a few women who would look good in a miniskirt at what would be considered an age that IT JUST ISN'T DONE. I also feel that the people that would criticize her for it are OTHER WOMEN THAT WOULD NOT LOOK GOOD IN ONE. Any comments?

As long as she feels comfortable about the way she dresses and the miniskirt looks good on her, why not?

I wouldn't like to set an age limit for the wearing of miniskirts. I mean, it's basically up to the woman if she wanted to dress that way so long as she feels comfortable with what she has on. I still believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder..so if she thinks she looks lovely and feel confident in that miniskirts, then she'd more likely appear like one.

I think that it depends on the shape of your legs. If you are 50 and still have hot legs wear one! Look at Tina Turner!
