Hi guys i m an indian. The place i go to job, i see lot of beggars. Most of them are children about the age 6-15. I feel really pity about seeing them. I feel that at the age of studying they are begging. My heart feels broken when i see them. I try to help them with whatever i can but theres much to be done and my helping them does help too much. I dont know what to do? God plz help them...

Yes my dear friend you have shown the real scenario of the india country. poverty is one of the main factor due to which india is lagging behind in the world. But god is inot going to help in this regard. We must do something good or if one can just teach one poor then it will be a social service and improvement towards humanity and country

yeah its a great idea but i do believe we are the new and future of generation of this country. we should possibly contribute and without involving govt should try to make schools where all these small children could stay and study and get all the facilities that a normal child should get in the childhood

Hi Sandeep. Yes, a saddening sight for sure, but I'm sure you don't have the ability to help any more than you do. It is down to the government of your country to see that this doesn't happen so much. The kids do need their study.. it is sooooo heartbreaking to see this going on. I have a couple of friends here who raise money for schooling in Africa. Naturally, nothing costs very much in that country and the children were sitting in the open desert with the books they had raised money for, and given them. So, they raised money to just put up some pillars and a roof over the kids' heads to start with, and added to it later. I wonder if they would consider going into India and helping the kids there. I'll have to have a word with them. What part of India is it, Sandeep? PM me if you don't want to type it in here.

Hi darkwing its not that india is a poor country like africa. India do have lot of money. but the problem here is the money here is not rotating. Here people accumulate money. So the rich become more richer and poor more poorer. You are right the govt should do something to stop this plight.

I am from the Philippines. I admit that we have the same problem. Over 70% of the total population there are considered in poverty. I also feel pity for them. The government here is corrupted and it makes us poorer. Come to think about it, these beggars are sometimes desperate. They even steal things just for food. Other people here do help but its not enough. I believe that education can minimize poverty. About helping, beggars here tend to just beg more if you give money. sometimes, making them dependent from the givers. I think that giving them food is more moral. It could result something more. Mayne they will find little jobs to help them go for the better.

Hi chemicalh you are right. If we give them money they ask for more. And i dont personally entertain if they are adult people begging. But when its children begging i really feel pity. Becoz i do feel this is not the time for either begging or doing even small job. They should go to school. I dont know what the govt does with the money they have. It should be their responsibility to see that their are no child beggars and children of their age should be going to school

Same here,i believe if every working individual in our country contributes in a small way for the education of these poor destitute children, then we can reduce this problem of poverty.
