Why RAM prices Increased Recently ??

recently RAM prices increased tremendously ! what could be the possible reason ! production decreased ! or needs increased ! if needs increased then why production is lowered !
whatever give your views !

I think that it's some markets law involved. I think that chip makers gives us the rules and prices. Anyway I didn't noticed this increase in Italy...do you need some DDR / DDR2 module I could buy you here? :D How much do you pay 512MB DDR stick? 1GB? And DDR2 ? DDR2 are more expensive than DDR memory at the moment

ohh well thanx for your kindness ! here SD is costing 40 US dollar and DDR is costing 36 us Dollars !!

I bought 256 DDR Geil at 25 euro's after 3 months i wanted to buy some more and i thought the price would be around 20 euro's.But surprize the price was 40 euro's,i was surprized because the prices of computer parts go down not up.

exactly ! but in my case i am suffering with memory only other parts prices seems to be the same as it were !
