Sometime between the hours of 2 am and 9 am someone broke into the house, stole our car keys and stole our car. I don't know if we will get it bad. I feel so down. They took the bag I keep my bingo dabbers in and left it on the back step and my coat. My husband found my coat up by another set of townhouses. The took a little glass elephant out of a pouch in my bingo bag which doesn't make sense. the police where here and they couldn't get any prints. I was on the phone with the insurance for over an hour. They are going to give us a rental. There was 700 dollars of my daughters horse riding gear in the back of the car. I hope they recover the car in working order. Any one else have this happen to them. I feel really voilated. Not just that, it scares me to think someone was in my house and I didn't even hear them.

Oh honey, I am so sorry to hear this. What an awful experience and fright. About 30 years ago, someone sneeked into my home, and stole money out of my piggy bank and photo's and left. Never found out who or why. So I kinda know how violated you feel. Please make sure that you change the locks on your home door. I hope they find the car and all the gear inside of it. Blessing be upon you and your family.

I talked to the police yesterday and my car was spotted on Sunday night. The weather was bad so they could not chase it. They did identify the driver and a warrent is out for his arrest. The officer said ususally once they arrest them they give every thing up. Someone else was in the car but the couldn't identify them

It's always terrible when someone breaks into your house, but thank god they "only" took the cas and your girls equipment. That's all something that can be replaced. I would have been worse if something had happened to one of the members in your family or they had stolen the family photo album. The glass is half-full :-)

You are right it would have been worse if one of us had got hurt but we lost the car too. I don't know if will be ever recovered. I hope so but I am not sure what will happen if it isn't.

I am so sorry that that happened to you. Well that is good the the insurance is all ready helping you out. I have never had this happen to me so I really cannot give you any information on how things will go. But I will offer to pray for you and your family, and that your car and personal belongings will come back to you in good shape.

the exact same thing at the exact same time happened to me and my parents today.. we live in an apartment complex, and the only ones who have keys to our house is me and of course my parents but we were all home it had to happen around 4 am to 9am becuz we got in late last night.. So the only other people to have keys are the maintenence people and they have to kno exactly where we keep our keys becuz only one maintenence guy has been in our house and that was too fix our sink..... and our neighbors across from us say that maintenence ppl knocked on her door when her husband left for work and they tried jiggling the door as if they were trying to come in so she called her husband and he has to come home often becuz they do that
