Talking rocks - Now they've joined in the fun as well

Now everything is talking (not just the cans I wrote about last week), but not only talking they're watching you as well. The rocks are going better they have miniture camera's to keep their beady eyes on you watching your every move, and if they see you step out of line - that's it - they start shouting at you. Initially they are going to be used for rubbish dumps to spy on 'Fly Tipping', but I'm sure these little blighters will manage to escape and spy on our lives forever. I suppose if they get board they will nip into the supermarkets to have a chat with the cans. I can also picture them in the rubbish dumps interrogating the cans, demanding to know exactly where they have been since leaving the supermarket shelves until they end up in the dump. Life, I'm afraid will never be the same again.

Maybe they could also tell me where I left my car keys? I am always losing them. I could put one in each room and then It could say , they are in the left coat pocket1 or, You put them in the fridge silly! ( I did that yesterday.LOL I had some things to go in the fridge when I got home I tossed everything in there including my keys!

I try to always leave keys exactly in the same place ie a specific jacket pocket, doesn't work very well when its very hot and don't wear a jacket or a coat. My son is always losing his car and house keys (and always will).

I do the same and lose them more in the summer. Maybe if my jacket could talk, it would know where they are hiding? I know where they are right now, it was chilly this morning, I wore my jacket!

I missed your other discussion, about cans, will have to look for it. I think all these talking inanimate objects are trying to alleviate somone's intense feelings of loneliness. Ha ha. Maybe they represent "rock solid friends", can you imagine the new version of "rock and roll"? We would need them on country roads to catch the illegal dumpers as well. Interesting.

Perhaps I'm just a 'sad old git' talking to rocks, cans and lamp-posts' but all these talking objects will take over the world one day.

I think this is AWESOME! These will be fun to mess with whoever is spying on you. I wouldn't mind having a few to check out what is going on around my house when I am away. Some people will take offense and I am sure they are already passing laws to protect people from them.

Another brilliant idea. I can't wait for the rocks and cans to get together. Should be fun. However, I think the talking rocks should be renamed and called 'stalking rocks'.

I'm just waiting now to see what new item starts to talk next week. As dustbins are now getting microchipped, it wouldn't surprise me if they started talking as well. proably tell you off if you put the wrong type of rubbish in your bin.

Eskimo, you're so funny. :) I did hear about these talking rocks a long time ago and I thought they were a great idea. I wonder can you glue them to the ground or something to prevent them from being taken, or....even running away. I'd like to get a few of them for my driveway. I'd say it'll be fun on recycling day when I'm bringing my bags of cans to the can bank. I might shake the bag at the rocks, just for pure divilment.

I wasn't expecting to add anything else that talks, now I've found another one, which I'll probably add next weekend. I can see me getting offered a job by SETI, if I can find lots of intelligence in inanimate objects on earth, how much better do you think I will be hunting in outer space.
