The tap water in my country is not ready to drink. We have to boil it for at least 5 minutes. So I think bottled water is better for health.

Yes, boiling the water is also one way of getting rid of the bacteria in it. Thanks for your your response.

I prefer bottled water and have for some time now. The water that comes out of our tap does not taste very nice and have sometimes had the smell of Chlorine from the tap outside so am not sure about this!

I think it really depends on where you live and your community. I used to live outside of Denver and the tap water was excellent. Now I live in a rural area where the water is absolutely awful. It leaves that white, limey deposit on all the faucets and pipes and sometimes, you have to let it sit for a while until all those float-y things redissolve. When we first moved here, the whole family got GI distress. We stayed near the bathroom until someone clued us in about the water. We now drink bottled water all the time, though we buy it in gallon jugs. No more problems.

honestly, it doesn't matter to me much.. what is important is that, it is safe to drink. as for now, drinking tap water does not giving me diarrhea [is my spelling correct?]. but when i travel, i usually drink bottled water of 50ml or bring some during a long travel. but its okay for me whether i drink the tap or the bottled one. ^^

I have well water so I would say tap water. Bottled water is ok, but I drink it so much that I have a preference to water. Weird. I will not drink Auqafina or DaSani.

I prefer bottled water.. I dont trust the tap water.. everytime I turn around there is a boil water advisory here.. I just dont trust tap water.. I dont think its clean enough... I will drink tap water from my moms house though because hers is filtered and she spent alot of money to have it done so I like that one but any other water I will not touch unless it is bottled..

I always use tap water when I am at home. There is no problem at all with our tap water. But if I go out side I take bottled water.

My water is supplied by my city, it's purified and treated with Chlorine.. so I don't want my kids drinking it, and I certainly don't want to drink it.. so I use bottled water for anything that involves water going into my body. I use it for drinking and making juice, and I use it for cooking. My bathroom tap has a filter attached for when we brush our teeth. We use the tap water for washing dishes and showering and that's about it.

tap water. why pay for bottled water when you can get tap for free??
