Do you also play Elvis songs on an instrument?

I've been playing guitar for 46 years. Even though I can play the hard songs and all types, I keep coming back to learning Elvis songs. I just learned "In the Ghetto" and all of the words. Do you play Elvis songs? What is your favorite?

I like playing the early Elvis stuff on guitar, such as Mystery Train & baby Lets play house, I really love all the early Rockabilly music.

The early stuff is definately the best to play on the guitar. I could play it, but I got caught up with requests from my wife which was his later stuff. Enjoy and thanks for the reply!

I like "are you lonesome tonight" I'm not good in remembering titles but I like listening to elvis presley's music.

I just bought a new electric guitar to-day and I am hoping to learn all the Elvis songs. I already play them on the piano and can manage a few on the violin. I most likely will just start off with the chords and then try the melody. One of my favourites is "Only Fools Rush In" but I like most of Elvis's songs.

That's great! What kind of guitar did you buy? My favorite guitar is a Gibson Hummingbird acoustic. I play mostly chord solos which make the songs sound fuller. Thanks for your interest in my post and good luck with your songs!

I love to play his songs on the guitar...they're great. Probably In the Ghetto, Burning Love and The Wonder of You.
