How many of you actually volunteer for any organisation? Apparently all FESA services are screaming for help! Yes you can be one, provided you are able to help and can spend a few hours a month just to do some training. Training is all provided and most uniforms are also provided. So why not join? I am an active member of the Volunteer Marine Sea Sarch Rescue group as a Radio Operator and also a SAR co-ordinator. I also volunteer for the St Johns Ambulance Servies as an Ambulance Officer. FESA looks after the Bush Fire Bridgade, Marine Sea Search Rescue, Ambulance Services, and SES. Please consider this seriously as one day your home, friends, families could be under threat and without us and your help things can be harsh, with more helps things will make it so much easier! Go on give it a go!!!

that is understandable! There is so many others out there that dont have children etc. I have a child too but she is old enough to be on her own, and most time one of us is here with her, while the other go off to do what they can.

I volunteer in my school and outside community. It is a way to keep me from craziness.

No, I do not volunteer to anything. I work (self-employed) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, and most Saturday mornings as well. I also have 3 young children, and need to clean a house as well.

You Dont really need to volunteer, you give all of your time to 3 younglings, and they need you more then anybody else in this world.

Not at the moment I am afraid. i used to work (for free) in the depots of Saint Vincent De Paul and the Salvation Army to help them sort out donations. I also used to do some painting for the salvos (them bins dont stay red by themselves). Right now I dont have time to give to anyone but the better side (an informal thing, so it doesnt count)

Adversa You are doing something, you are helping others with your "better side". That is a volunteer thing, but its not as reconised as the ambulance services. Keep up the good work Adversa!
