dirty public reatrooms

Unfortunately the worst ones I saw were part of any store or restaurant. It was after a friday or Saturday night so a lot of drunk people would have used it until the wee hours. Even though I really needed to go I couldn't make myself go there. There was spew and blood and who knows what else and it smelt BAD! So I had to go find another.

My most memorable nasty public restroom experience was in a washroom that didn't apper too bad on walking in. However, I went to wash my hands...and the soap dispenser had feces on it! I think that takes the cake for me - beyond any clogged toilets, smells, or other "typical" qualities in ill-kept public restrooms. ~Sara

I have seen many and dont remember the place. But its really bad that people cannot be civilised.

I was at a mall in Maryland and it was really bad, toilet tissue everywhere like there was a fight. Stopped up toilet with no signs outside the stall and only one side of the bathroom had paper towels...I did speak to management and I got a "I will send someone in there asap" yah right, you know how that goes...

I have acturlly refused to use some public restrooms when they are dirty. I know it is impossible to keep them spotless when the public uses them but some are just plan unsanitary. I will go to another restaurant if the bathroom is dirty. I think that the bathroom is a direct reflection on the establishment.
