this really isnt a decussion i guess but i want to let all parent know about a sickness in infants that most doctors dont even know about it is when the muscule in the stomach works more than it should and then in squeezes the intestant off and want allow food through. which in turn starves the child. it usuaally shows its self at around 17 days. watch for vomiting, no bowl movement weight lose, painful cry. i have had 2 boy with it and both times i had to fight to get the doctors to lisson to me. we come within 8 hrs. of losing the first child because the doctors had never heard of it. my second son had a better chance because i knew the signs but the doctors told me there was 1 in 2 million chance he had the samething as my first son. so we again nearly lost him. i dont want this to happen to anyone else so i hope this post gets to alot of people. oh and it is mostly found it white baby boys although i dont tend to trust what the doctors say any more.

my son was premature and had this surgery at age one month. I had never heard of this until he got sent to Laboneur in Memphis, Tn. It is suppose to be rare, but it is scarey. Thanks for letting people know. It is very serious for the well being of these children.

My son is acting like nothing has ever happened to him now. I hope things are well with you. After going through what he did all he does now is point to the scar and says "my operation." He might not remember it but I sure do.

my boys are doing wonderful now. Thank God. when i brought the youngest home from his surgery his big brother saw his cut and showed us his and told us that bother must have had his doctor because he cut him to. now he is always showing everyone his scare and leting them see brothers. its cute. my husband told him when we brought his brother home he couldnt touch the cut and that got it all started. then when he start asking why my husband told him that it was so everyone could tell they were brother and just alike in someways.
