how can i recognize that i am in love?

hi friends i think i am in love but can anybody tell me how can i recognize that i am in love and my Girl friend also loves me. i think she like me but afraid to tell me and the same case with me.i like him but afraid to tell her that i love him. because i dont know how u identify that you r in love. please friends tell me how does i identify? please
