Have you ever been blamed for something you honestly didn't do?

sometimes yes, but usually those are petty things like chores are home that i do, or things i did not do, or messages i did not give when i answered for someone, like it was always me who must do everything..

Yes I have, I was blamed for taking some earrings, for at least a week until my friend realized she actually hid them from herself. No matter how much I said I didn't take them she didn't believe me. In this situation it really made me look at it like she didnt really trust me as her friend...

Yes it has happened to me alot of time both in personal as well as professional life. In my personal life, one of my wife's friends tried to create mess in our relationship by blaming me of something which I never did. She narrated the incidence so well that my wife had to believe her and ultimately she ended up fighting with me. Although, we were able to clear up the things later but the phase which I went through because of this is unforgettable.

I was blamed for not paying for a piece of bread! I had handed the money before the owner of the stall went to prepare the bread, but when she passed my the bread, she request for payment again! *pissed*

yes and it was really upsetting i sued her back and she in jail now serving it for 2 years and it was horrible that time really. Its all over the newspaers andf reporters interviewed me so many times.

That was a terrible thing for your parents to do. It was embarrassing for you and to tell other people that is cruel to your feelings. I understand what you feel. I was blamed for things that my older sister would do and I would get grounded for it. Finally at the age of 16 I stood up for myself and never took punishment again. Mine would consist of beatings and grounding. I learned from the past and I have tried to pass on positive training to my daughters. It is hard to be a perfect parent and there are times that I was regretful for things I said or did. I still talk to my daughters about those times today. What did your mother say to you when she finaly realised that it wasn't you? Was she remorseful?

ya .. some case ..happen to me..one time, I leave home with out ask permission.. I just go to CD's rental..but my parents angry they judge me, if I go out with my mate and no ask they permissition..Until one day the cd's worker meet my parent in the way go home, and the worker say that movie cd I want to rent has been valuable so I can rent it now, in that time my mom release that her wrongness

Nothing embarrising like your story.. I had a friend that told her mum I had dented her car everything she blamed on me I wondered why her mum didn't like me and than one day her sister told me and I was like WHAT that lyer most of the time I wasn't even with her..... She blamed me for everything wrong she did.... I was so pissed off still am actually her mum still doesn't know the truth and I still look like the bad one.....

yes ... i got blamed because my parents think im doing nasty things to my younger sister because she's crying and tell my parents that i punch her. I didn't do it ! so ... i think i know the feeling of being decieved

yes, i have been blamed for what i didnt do, and it was really a bad feeling. but u know, truth will certainly come out so we dont have to worry.

I'm an only child and when I was younger, (me and her lived alone) someone spent like 1000 bucks on it and she thought it was me

yes it happened twice with me and both the tim ei was very unhappy and tried to defend myself til the las momnent but i never got away with that. sometimes these things happen in life and we have to accept it. but then we have to make our self clear so that our respect is still there. we have to defend to tell that we have something to say

its not once that i have faced something of the sort, i have been blamed for things that other people did wrong and i didnt have anything to do with that matter. but i have a simple rule not to get too offended when someone does that rather have patience and prove it that i have done nothing wrong just to let the accuser feel how wrong they have been in judging me.

Yes on a number of occasions, this happened to me, most of the times I get my self out of it by explaining each and every aspect but sometimes I cant explain it all

Ya i m blamed for many reasons but i think that is all for good and i m getting god for doing that. For example i was helping my friend in money matters and my family was scolding for that and it is the time to get praised from my family cause i m getting a good reward from him and his family and i have a pretty good name in their house.

I have been blamed once for cutting the leaves of my mom's favorite plan in our garde. It felt so bad because I didn't do it, it's the passers by and not me. I just didn't reacted too much to avoid fights.
