well relationship and money are the two most complicated thing on earth .yes in some cases relation is directly related to money , in some cases there is a pseudo linkage and in the rest cases there is no linkage at all . take this for example, your parents pay for your upbringing and in their old age you pay for their betterment . so would you call this a relation related with money ? it all basically boils down to one's attitude and perspective of a relationship .but most of the relations in life has no concern with money . it is simply love , affection and respect which forms the main essence of a reltionship.

Yes it is, you both should be working for the same goal if your not then things will get messy.
