My husband always sleeps in front of the TV. It drives me crazy.

I don't think it's possible for a man to watch television without falling asleep. My husband always sleeps in front of the TV but once we go to bed he want to "talk"... Don't tell me it is because he is tired from his daily work. This is a man who is retired. In fact, if he watches something on TV first thing in the morning, he can fall asleep! He's been tested for all kinds of stuff including thyroid. He's a healthy man. My father always also did it and my ex husband. Maybe you know a husband, father, brother, uncle that does this too. Tell me you feel about it.

It's really interesting. I thought it's just my husband who does so!! So welcome to angry women club! Yes It makes me disappointed too much. I tell him to control himself but he can't and I feel bad especially when there are others to watch him!

Sometimes I wake him up to ask him what is going on in the show or say Are you watching or sleeping. He usually says "Yes...zzzzzzzz".

My husband does the same thing. Maybe the T.V has a hypnotic effect on men.... :)

It seems so. The only movie that really put me to sleep was Lord of the Rings part II.

My husband hates the TV and would really rather that we get rid of it all together. If anyone is going to fall asleep in front of the TV it's going to be me. I'm not sure what it is, but it's kind of like getting into a car ... it lulls me to sleep. Especially if it's a show that I don't really like. I think that when you really stop to think of all the other things that could be wrong with your husband that there are so many other annoying things out there ... be glad that he's sleeping in front of the TV instead of out with another woman!

Don't worry about him my husband also do the same! it sometimes drives me crazy. like he is going to put a really good dvd movie to watch and i would try and tell him i won't watch the movie. but it would end up me watching the movie by myself and he would be sleeping on the sofa. like now, while i am surfing the net and he is just watching his favorite manga. he ended up sleeping again. nobody is watching the damn tube. why can't guys just go straight to bed if they aren't interested in watching or they just think that watching tv is like a lullaby their mothers use to sing to them and they are being cradled to sleep.

What I don't like is that sometimes I really want to enjoy a show or movie WITH him. Sometimes its fun to laugh or be suspense together, you know what I mean!

I don't think that will solve anything. He'll just go to bed earlier and sleep.
