Best dog food?

Thinking we are not using the best food for our dogs. We have been giving them Biljac and just realized that it has corn in it and that's not so great for dogs. So, which brand do you think is the best to feed your dog? and why? Have you researched the ingredients used in the food you feed your dog? Thx!

I have always thought that IAMS,Pedigree,Paws,Dog chow have been good dog foods. I never knew that corn was bad for a animal and most dost foods has something like a cornmeal base to them I think. I would ask a vet about what types of food would be best for my dog that doesn't have corn in it he may be able to give you a list of foods that will help you decide what is best.

I have also heard that corn is not a good ingredient when selecting a dog food. We always fed our terrier a food with a rice and chicken base. It depends on what your desired outcome is - are you looking for overall health, treating skin conditions, etc?

we bought the Nutro puppy formula. Its free of byproducts and I believe its rice and lamb (no corn!). I hope this one works out!
