Subject: is foreign teacher helpfulll?

nowadays more and more universities hire foreign teachers to teach students but is foreign teachers helpfull?maybe some of you doubt it,now let us talk about it,express your own opinion,maybe it will help someone to walk out the labyrinth.

What difference does it make what nationality a teacher is? The important thing, I think, is whether that person is good at what he/she does and is well qualified to teach on whatever field they chose. Add to this whether the teacher is a good communicator and can get a point across in a way that the students sit up and take note. I hate to admit it but I am sure that there are a lot of lousy teachers out their who aren't American....I remember a couple I had way back when. I can't get over how many of my fellow Americans are so intent on putting down foreigners. Have you ever heard of that great American, Werner Von Braun or Henry Kissenger, the list goes on. In many fields the foreigners are much more effective in teaching than Americans.
