I think I am starting to have more dislikes about them then likes now a days. How do you feel about movie theatres? The things that I like about them is getting out and seeing a good movie, catching previews of new movies coming out and just relaxing either by myself, friends for family. The things that I dislike is the cost to see a movie is too high, the concessions are too high, sometimes the concession lines are too long and have few workers, and the theatres are filthy.

Well what i like about movie theatres is the movie experience; a movie in the theatre always looks cooler then a movie you see at home. What I don't like about the movie theatres is like you said the popcorn on the ground. I work in a theatre in the summer and i always have to clean all the popcorn! Thats why i never buy popcorn when i go to watch a movie.

I never buy popcorn at a theatre either and usually get something to eat before arriving at the theatre to avoid the high costs of the food. I hate seeing food on the ground and cups. The surround sound is great and seeing a movie on a large screen is very nice.

I can't tell youthe last time i actually wen t to a movie theatre.. I stopped going when the cost went over 7.00 per person. I enjoy a movie much more when I can sit home on my own couch and or bed and watch the movie, I can stop it when I want to go to the bathroom or get a snack. Some of my firend say that there are certain movies you just have to see in the theatre, I just don't really miss the lines, the cost and the sticky floors!

I too enjoy watching movies at home and being able to pause it to use the restroom or get something to eat. No worrying about missing parts of the movie for bathroom or snack breaks. The lines were horrible today at the concession stand.

I love the BIG screen & the volume of the sound. I HATE the price of a ticket, the seats, the price of the food. Its just has way to many cons for me to want to go very often at all.

It is very nice seeing the movie on the big screen with the surround sound. You can really enjoy the special effects more on the big screen than on a tv. The cost of the movies is a joke as well as the food.

I used to love going to the movies, but these days, I'll only ever go to please a friend. I prefer to watch movies at home, via video, or DVD. For me, watching a whole movie takes up too much of my day, that is, if I'm alone. And even with a friend, I prefer to watch at home.

I like movie theatres. Eventhough I see movies in the television, I do not satisfy with them. I feel good in watching movies alongwith spectators in the theatre.

I love going to the movie theatres. However, sometimes I get a bit drowsy after being in there. I usually get my moneys worth and see two movies while I'm in there. (which is probally a no no.) LOL, anyways the only thing I don't like is the cost of the food. Popcorn is like $6 a bag and then soda is like $3.99 the prices are crazy. Other then that, I have an excellent time at the theatres!

I dislike when tall people sit in front of me, but even worse than that is when the people behind me kick the back of my seat.

I hadn't gone to a movie theater in years, they cost too much. Where I live they have one theater, on Wed. they have family night. $1 night, $1 to get in, $1 for pop, $1 for popcorn. I did go on that night. They don't show the movies when they first come out, but hey look how much money you safe.

My biggest thing is the filth. I disgust it. I always bring little wipes and wipe down the chairs. I hate the impolitness of people. I mean come on we are all adults and we should know better. Turn the phone off before you go in, the actors can't hear you stop talking to the screen. Lastly, I wish movie theaters supplied toothpicks.

That is an interesting suggestion about the toothpicks. It would help get the popcorn out that get stuck in our teeth. I hate filthy theatres. People are rude these days. I always turn my cell phone off for a movie. Hearing a cell phone go off in the theatre is my biggest pet peeve.

What I dislike about visits to movie theaters are the inconsiderate patrons -- those who bring babies to "adult" movies; those who do not turn off cell phones. I also dislike the high cost of the overall experience. Even the matinee tickets are not really bargains these days. I do enjoy going to the movies with friends, but at today's prices, it seems going to the movies is headed towards the place where drive-ins reside -- a fond memory of the past

I dislke people who have this constant annoying laugh, which makes you attracted by his/her attention that you miss a good part of the film. I also dislke how so movie theaters give tiny portions of butter on the popcorn. One last thing I dislke about move theaters are the employees. They never smile and they have an attitude towards you for no reason. I like that the movie theaters have previews for good movies that are coming out later on.

I love movies, but almost never buy anything at the theaters anymore due to the high cost. You can easily spend as much at a theater as you can on a good dinner.

Well, movie theaters are the best way to see a movie. I also like tp watch the previews of movies that are coming soon. I don't like it when people just throw away their trash on the floor. I also don't like it when there are people being very intimate in a movie theater. Just get a room will you!

Geeze, I could type all day on this one! I'll start with inconsiderate patrons. These would be the ones who fail to turn off their cellphones, giggle and whisper the entire movie, make 15 trips in and out of the movie (requiring you to jockey in your seat to allow them to pass), state loudly, "wait till you see this part, it's great" (as it is their third of fourth viewing, and chew their gum loudly and pop bubbles loudly. Second would be the exorbitant prices to get into the movie and then for concessions and lastly, the filthy condition of the theater. (sticky, gooey floor that is covered with soda spills and pieces of trash, the seats that are stained with spills and pieces of hardened gum etc) Yeah, I will continue to wait for movies to come out on DVD. I can relax in my own home, pause the movie to use the restroom and not have to be bothered by noise and filth!

What I really really hate with movie theaters nowadays is the fact that most teenagers are turning them into brothels. It seems that our young couples are oblivious of the fact that they're in a public place and should keep their hands and lips to themselves. All those smooching sometimes distracts my attention from the movie which I paid for!

I like the wide screen and the sound system. I don't like the price of the consessions. I also don't like the choices. Consessions haven't changed much, even though people's eating habits have changed over the past 20 years.

The alone like about theaters is the movie that I goto watch. Dislikes .............. The peoples shouting there unmannerly and leaving some unfair comments. Cost doesn't matters but the relaxing hours become more irritating when mobiles ring and persons shout. How about that. Have a nice day.
