If you were selected to be a juror for a specific case, what type of case would you want to listen to? Murder, rape, theft or any other type of case? Explain why you would want to do that particular case.

Great post. Lots of thinking into this one. If I had to be a juror for a spcific case, it would be rape. I would want to get him off the street and say "guilty"

Thank you for the compliment. I did have to think about this one quite a bit. I was reflecting back in my past a bit when I had to serve for a capital murder case. I would want a major crime as well like rape, murder or something else really bad.

I only survived two days in this case as I became ill and the judge had to dismiss me. I was really sick as I ended up missing work for a whole week as well as the two days of jury duty so I do not know what happened. It was interesting during the time I served. I did not find it stressful at all.

How did it go for you? Was it extremely stressful?

I would go with the murder case. I have my degree in Criminal Justice/forensics and I would love for them to walk through the case and me able to use my education.

A case like that would definitely help you and give you experience since you have a degree in that area. Good luck to you and hope you find a great career in your field.

On this one, I think I would have to say that I would like to work on a case involving rape or murder. I love CSI, and Law and order, and picture myself working the jury in the cases they represent...lol....not quite the same, I know, but thats how Im thinking!

I have never served before but i did have to fill out a paper last year to serve sometime this year. When they do call me i think i would to be a juror for a murder or rape.I chose those two because those criminals need to be locked up and the key need to be thrown away forever

I would want to have something to do with a major crime. Only because I am able to pay attention to details and not be swayed from the truth by persuasive speaking. I can see the truth for what it is and not what someone wants to present it to be. So, for me, I think I would do best for those of murder or rape. However, I would never want to do a case that is about child abuse. I could not handle seeing pictures of a child beaten. Only for the fact that I have been the one in those pictures before and I have not been able to handle seeing anything since. I could not imagine hurting a child like that! I could not handle seeing pictures or hearing the story because I would be emotionally drawn in and would not be able to think clearly.

Personally I wouldn't want to be on a jury at all but if I had to, it wouldn't matter one way or the other what type of case it was, I have other things to do in my life to be bored with other than that, *laugh*.

I would like to do anything that wouldn't endanger my life later. So, maybe everything but rape, murder and theft.
