You give your 2 cents here, and you get a penny!

Just a funny observation. There's a phrase in the English language, that when you give someone your thoughts or your advice on something, you are giving your 2 cents. But here, each comment seems to go for a penny, not 2 cents. Do you find that ironic too? I thought it was pretty funny!

I guess the slogan here would be pennywise and pound foolish. I think that your observation was funny. I like to wear my opinions on my sleeve except when i wear a sleeveless shirt. i also frequently give my unsolicited advice for the good of others.

My Two Cents - Is this real or not?
OK so I got here too late to give my two cents so I added this pic to the thread. I've never seen this coin so I have no idea if it is real or not. Now I can really say, here's my two cents!

Sometimes it seems we get a penny for our thoughts, sometimes it seems as if our thoughts aren't worth much of anything. I like to put in my two cents worth, but mostly I like to give my advice and help others if there is anything I can do to help. I just hope that something that I have to give on this site is of some use to someone.
