SCHOOL SHOOTINGS WHY ARE THEY HAPPENING?

Why do you think its occuring so often .Do you think when one shooting happend it triggers other kids to do it in there state.Do you think there is not enough security for people entering the school buildings.?
I think it all starts at home u should be aware of what your child is doing.Are they building bombs playing with guns acting out violence not realizing where reality and fantasy begin and End..

I think that there are two main reasons for this. The first and most important would be parenting. I think alot of parents do not pay enough attention to their children's behavior and attitude. And when they do notice something, they don't take the right actions and in some cases no action is taken. There are also lots of other parenting skills that could be to blame. Secondly, security in schools is not good enough. People can walk right in the front of the school, past the front desk, and not be noticed. I have also witnessed individuals walk through the side doors of the school and go about their way. This is just from one "good" highschool in my area. There are police officers at the school but they aren't really manning the area, they are usually sitting in their office. Yeah there are cameras, but cameras can't prevent things from happening.

Yeah, it's a scary thought. But hopefully things will get better soon. I know that some schools have metal detectors that the kids have to go through when they enter. But that's only in the front of the school.
Just have to hope and pray things will get better and straightened out.
