Seeking activities for teenage girl with mental retardation.

I am working with a 15 year old female with mental retardation. She attends regular school but special classes. I am trying to find activities in which she can engage after school and on weekends at a reasonable cost or free. She would like to do art. She is also agreeable to trying dance. She is overweight, has a very sedentary life and watches too much tv. I am looking for something she can enjoy and where she will have an opportunity to meet people, not just others with mental retardation but an integrated environment. She lives in Plantation Florida
