Looked after Children

Is there a magasine specifically aimed at children in the looked after system.

Such as daycare? I know there is Parent's magazine...look under some of the publishing houses and see what they have to offer.

thanks for responding as you may see from my above post it is specifically for children looked after by the local authority that I am looking for literature.

hi you should be able to get these from you local social securaty office where you live, if you just give them a ring and ask them if they do one.

What is the looked after system? Daycare? Babysitting?

I am in the UK and have a feeling this is not a UK site? The Looked After Children system is when a child is removed from home and placeed with foster carers or in a residential unit.

Yes, there are lots of parenting magazines. The are many more websites though. Here are s few: http://csefe.uiuc.edu/ (this one has a parent chat line) www.familyeducation.com/home www.kidsgrowth.com www.wholefamily.com (ask an expert) www.earlyconnect.org-13 If you have a printer you can print out only the articles you want or need. Staple them together then you could then pretend it is a magazine. Good luck.
