How many of you got marked with "best responses", and how many you already have? Just curious to know how our co-members here base their responses and opinions. I've been here for a month now and thought that I did good, I was lucky to have 3 responses marked as 'best response'. Would you like to share it with us?

After 1070 posts (at the time of writing this) I have 15 best responses, some people have much more for less posts, I think what i have is a good percentage but many of what I though may/should be best responses never became so. I noticed that some very poor posts receive "best response" in many of the discussions that i visit, I suspect that some members use it as a way to boost their ratings by having deals with others to give "best responses" in return. I don't see this as an honest way, I never asked for it or will give it to anyone who ask to exchange it with me. I take time in choosing the discussions I reply to and usually write a good answer not just a post to gain another point, I think this is the only honest way to gain best responses although I notice that many people don't give a "best response" to anyone and it seems they never even read what responses they have :(

You might be right about that, giving 'best responses' in return.. I just hope that other people here would think more and not try to deal/trade in exchange of something. You have an excellent view and started to make me think more of that different angle.

Hi, im new to this community, ive been a member for 8 days, I currently have 17 best responses given to me. To tell you the truth i am quite flattered by this. I have no idea why they choose my comment as their best response, as far as i know i did not wrote anything special. Maybe i have answered their question or inquiry or maybe they saw that my comment is more sensible and more relevant compared to the other comments made.

I guess they get to understand more of the opinions that you want to express and the message that you want to send to them with good explanation. Continue participating and in giving positive opinions!;)

You can look at anyone's profile to see how many "best responses" they have, so I will decline to post my numbers here. If you put it in perspective though, there are over 50,000 people posting responses to discussions, so if you get one, you are doing good.

Well it came as a surprise to me when I recently checked the "best responses" list..so many of my responses which I least expected were marked good:) I have around 40 responses marked as best response and I've been here for a month and a half. It's a real boost and I'm happy that people actually care for our opinions:)

Just try to answer as much as you know. And, try to put more sentences when you answer. That way, people would be more interested to view your responses and would notice your opinions. Take it as a tip!;)
