Haha! I used to watch Dae Jang Geum (Jewel in the Palace) before and I am really amazed on how the whole palace and royalty thingy goes there in ancient Korea..They have a very different tradition and culture compared to those of China and Japan..I even think they looked neater and more formal..I love how Jang geum always did her explanations. Her mouth just can't stop giving out information about something..haha! And here comes Goong (Palace/Princess Hours), intertwining a Dae Jang Geum-like setting and costumes with a very romantic Korean comic-turned-drama! I really love this show..Imagine a modern Korean schoolgirl trying to live in a contemporary way in a place where very ancient traditions of Korea are strictly observed..Not to mention the possibility of a typical girl to marry the crown Prince just because of a friendship pact! Whew! Goongers out there, have you watched it all? Tell me, what should happen weeks from now? They said they'll gonna get married and have a child..Imagine that! Please tell me..^_^

Yes, I love watching Dae Jang Geum and Goong too. I watched Goong first although Dae Jang Geum releases in my country first because I don't have many time to watch it (Da Jang Geum episodes is very long).

I love Korean culture as much as I love their movies and television shows. I'm so addicted to it before because it really amazed me to see new faces on TV. I like how timid their girls are in most of their movies. I also like how Koreans look. They look good. And as Asians, I must agree that they have one of the best looks in the whole continent. Also, I was able to relate with their stories and culture because it's somehow similar to ours. One reason is that, like the Philippines, South Korea had been colonized by the Japanese army before. And both nations got some of their cultural heritage from the Japanese. Well, it's already given. Japanese are really influential people until now. I just enjoy watching beautiful people on tv.
