Which oracle version i should use ??

which oracle i should install from oracle 8i , 9i , 10 i or any you will prefer instead of it !

oracle 9i is a better and a simple version with isp services built on java applets and there is nothing as 10i it is 10g

for which purpose u want to install...what will be fron end u will be using...all things depends..always latest version to be used...so i suggest 10g but u shud hv supporting fron end for that....

it depends on urs OS and RAM , because if u r using higher RAM like 512 than go for 9i or 10i(which i don't know is there or not). Or if u r having 1 GB RAM go for 10g.If u use 9i on 128 ram than urs system will became slow.

hello manu..!!!i have worked on Oracle 9i..though u can always go for an improved version with some enhanced capalities so i would ask you to go for 10i..but then 9i and 10i takes too much space..so u can also load 8i if you want to load on your PC
