No bathtub sucks!

Cheers to that! I went without a bathtub for almost a year, after that I couldn't handle it. I had to move and now that I have a tub, it's the greatest thing on earth. I have back my mommy time and if you'd like chickie, I'll have a soak for you anytime. :P You'll have a bathtub soon...don't fret...smiles all around!

I used to love taking baths. But in 2000 I got flesh eating bacteria.. Know one knows where or how.. But When I was finally healed and I'm talking 3yrs.. I asked the doctor if I could take baths. He said no. Any one with the smallest cut or scratch that takes a bath risks infection. He said if a bath meant that much to me.. I needed to thouroughly disinfect the tub, take a shower in it and wash well. Then re disinfect the tub before putting in the bathwater. And after that bath, I should take a shower because of the need to rinse off soap. I don't know how you would have handled it. But I haven't yet been that desperate for a bath. I am desparate to go in the ocean, and I can't go swimming either. :(

I don't know what I would do without a bath tub. I love taking a hot relaxing bath when I have a long day or feel stressed. I think I would have to go to a hotel just to use the tub if I didn't have one.

See it was the other way around for me.I was stuck in a house for 3 years that only had a bathtub and no shower.It was living hell.I have long hair and it is impossible to get all the soap out in the tub.And when my menstration came a bath was out of the question.Then I would have to go to a friends house to take a bath.So I guess it depends on what your needs are as to which one you appreciate more.
