It's one of the books that I like to read over and over again. It does provide n interesting perspective about how kids tends to see things from a different light. " What is essential is invisible to the eyes," has been my favorite quote since.

i have read it to. it is full of symbolism about life, our attitude about it and the people that we meet during the course of our lives, just like the different kinds of people the little prince has met. and i agree, there can be a special flower for us, although such flower is no different from the rest

it sounds funny but i read the book late. i read it when i was already working (year 2001 i guess). i thought before that the book is a full nonesense. i sure took a lesson about it in college but never thought it was that interesting. i did not understand the story much back in college. but when i read it again, i found the book so interesting. i even read it thrice!

It is a very simple book which talks about life's lettle lessons which made it big in reality. I will always love it's simplicity and innocence. It's very noble and very catching and thought-provoking. It talks about some childish talks which are uncomprehensible to the adults. The good thing in here is it's good or most probably best for everybody who long for a good read.

Yeah it was nice. Actually i find it humbling for the child to be contented for the things that he have already. In the very complex and busy lives that we live in now, its a very touching reminder that not all the things that we are craving for will make us happy. Sometimes being contented with what we have is the only happiness that we need...It was really touching....

i've read that book years ago when someone i don't really know of sent it to me via regular mail. it's a great book to read. it made my imagination work. and the story had touched my heart a lot. i thought it's kinda a kid thing to read only. but when i started reading it, i just can't stop until i finished the book. i recommend it to others as well! "beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" i remember that line from the book. hehe.

Yes, I've read it. It is actually written to explain the importance of loving someone who is dear to you, and not taking him for granted. This was symbolized as a flower in which, the little prince took care of a flower in his planet, which he thought was not that pretty--thus, undeserving of his love and care. But the time he went to earth, he realized that even there are more beautiful flowers here, the flower he left is the one special to him. That's like when you love someone, you intend to look for another person. But the time that you leave that person whom you love--but you thought you didn't, you then realize that he/she is significant to you. :D

I think one of the messages of the book is about living a life of gratitude. That there are many things around us and all we have to do is look at them with a more grateful heart and we will surely find that inner happiness. There's this part there about a man who lives in a planet so small that one day there lasts only a minute. And what did the Little Prince think about that? He was sorry to leave that planet because it was blessed with 1440 sunsets in a "day"! :)

The Little Prince is easy to understand and is sensible. Children can learn values from it. I admire the author for writing such story. I appreciate the book a lot. "What is essential is invisible to the naked eye" - very true.

It is a very very nice book. I have read it twice, first was when I was in my grade 6 elementary level, and second was just last year, after i have graduated from college. I guess people who can't read between the lines won't really fully understand and get the true essence of the story. It moved me.I would definitely recommend this book to people,it is very inspiring and touching.A definite must have for everyone's book collection.I think that I won't get tired of reading this book and surely it would move me just the way it moved me the first time I read it.

the little prince is a children's book that has touched the lives of the adults. we have forgotten how a child is really like. innocent and amazed by anything beautiful that they see. their perception about things is really very different from how others do. we should understand now, why for a child a thing he loves cannot be replaced. just as the little has said that the rose that he has been taking care of has no equal. it is his and all the others are not his own.
