if it counts as an animal i would think it is the single-cell ameoba, it is as far as i know the smallest creature on earth

Pravda says "Zooplankton are the smallest animals in the sea and a vital link in marine life, yet scientists know next to nothing about them." And I would have thought that krill would be smallest, the ocean is so large perhaps it is the final frontie that gets our investigations!!

Before the smallest fish is the pandaca pigmea but know I heard there is something smaller, but it was also discovered here in the philippines.
