Until 10-15 years go, Italian championship was considered the most beautiful in the world, it was for the money available and the value for a player to play in an Italian team. The situation is changed in the last 10 years. Premier League and in particular Spanish Liga are now better, more enjoyable and with more valuable players. Premier League is the most watched around the world, Liga has the best players: Ronaldinho, Eto’o, Messi for Barcelona, Cannavaro, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy for Real Madrid and not only them. Also in Italy there are very good players in Milan, Inter, Rome and Juventus (but now in second division), but the matches are more tactic and annoying. Which is your opinion?

I think that for traditional values, inclunding atmosphere surrounding the matches and such, I'll have to go with Premier League. It's hardly a tactical championship, you can see those lads play football with their hearts and sweat their shirts with pure honesty. I don't like the monopolies that have been established around Serie A or La Liga, for instance.

I still prefer the Italian soccer championship despite that both the English and Spanish league are becoming more attractive with latest signings. I think that the Italian league is rich with mentors who are great football tactians, and even a minor squad can make life difficult for top teams.
