im just generally curious as to how much ram the average person has on their computers and what size hard drive they have. I was also wondering if there was any difference in how much memory us english people have on average on our computers and the rest of the world, cause in a lot of things we seem to be behind in the technologies lol. im currently on a laptop and have 1 gb of ram and a 80gb hard drive. my dektop also has 1gb of ram and an 80gb hard drive. in addition to those 2 i have an external 250gb hard drive i use for storing music and movies so i can switch it between computers and it doesnt waste space on my laptop and desktop.

I am using 2GB of ram and a 250GB harddisk...for ram wise...I understand that the size of the ram is not everything. If you were to purchase a budget ram...you will still have problems with resources if the programs that you use demands a lot of resources...The speed of removing unused resources in the ram is also crucial...if you are stuck with budget rams then try to use programs to clear the unused resources on the ram...an example is IE 7. If you have opened one window and multiple tabs. You will not be able to free up the ram usage if you only close the tabs...else for surfing sites that are relatively big in size will also cause a resource hog...
