scholes has been the play maker , trully but carrick was meant to be In my opinon United 's so far success is mainly because of the way scholes and carrick has played together when carrick creates the play scholes sits and does the dirty work to win the ball , and sends carrick space to make a magic similarly when scholes creates his passes , it is carrick or giggsy or neville who sits behind and wins the ball and gives scholes time to create the play
