4 days ago i bought Sony Ericsson K320i, i was in need for a new phone especially for using GPRS. But i was so upset to see that this phone is so bad with GPRS! I was hardly able to open a single page after numerous tries. Opposite to that my mums phone Nokia 6610i was working pretty much faster. Can someone suggest me which phone i should buy now? My requirements are phone must be color, with good quality display, Fast GPRS connectivity and good sound quality. If some has good idea about phones then please help me. Only reply this discussion if you have something to share really, otherwise thank you to read this.

i think u should buy a expensive phone to use better GPRS and in my view if u tries again and again to open a single page and it cant open its a network prolem not a mobile problem. i would suggest you nokia phones . Although sony ericsson phones are good but u have to buy a expensive one. take care

I think it would depend on your budget actually. if you have no problem with budget. surely Nokia N80 is a perfect solution for you. It has bluetooth, 3G, wifi.you can say all the things about internet connection. But if you really searching for GPRS ONLY well many phones currently available. depends on your taste. but as u said u quite satisfied with 6610i i suggest u to buy NOkia 6233. But if you interested in another brand you can try SE K750i or K618i.

GPRS has now been old and outdated technology.Though not to worry, because thousands of people still use it. But i think u should go for an EDGE network mobile phone which will give you good networking and speeds of upto 230 kbps other than GPRS which can give you a maximum of 40-48 kbps. For more information on mobile phones, you can always visit this website: www.gsmarena.com This website gives you accurate information about any mobile phone you want to buy. There are also links to some internet shops to buy these mobile phones.

my view is that NOKIA N73 is the best phone model to access GPRS since it has wide facilities and features. Iphone from apple is the new trend which is damn good

Over all i can see that NOKIA is much more popular in terms of GPRS and various functions, does it mean that no other phone is better for GPRS use?

I think you should buy a Nokia phone. It is user friendly. You can easily send and receive MMS message by use of GRPS. It also has bluetooth, infrared, etc.
