Dental check-ups

I was just wondering how often I should get my baby's oral hygiene checked? He is now 10 months old and already has 8 teeth. Thank you.

My children first visited the dentist when they were 5, but from the time their teeth first appeared I would clean them twice a day. Now they 16 and 12 and have beautiful healthy teeth but unfortunately both of them will need braces to correct an overbite....unfortunately that was out of my control.
