When did your baby go off the bottle

I am just curious to know how soon peoples children were wiened from the bottle

As soon as they turned a year old I slowly started getting them turned over to sippy cups.

I did the same with my first two and they are girls, but my son is almost two and will not give it up. He throws huge tantrums. It has gotten worse ever since my husband deployed but he only does it when hes tired. I dont know what to do, I dont want him to get used to being rocked to sleep either because he doesnt get a bottle before he goes to bed??? Its so frustrating!
